The Raven
A case study, based on The Horn of Plenty Collection (Autumn/Winter 2009, 2010) by Alexander McQueen. Specifically, the compelling piece - The Raven - most noted for its romantic symbolism surrounding death. This piece was fabricated by a very ellaborate ensemble formed primarily of duck feathers, which help to formulate by this garment is that of a raven. This study borrows from the fundamental construction found in The Raven as well as The Prada Building (Herzog & Demorons) Tokyo, Japan.
